Our mission is to provide support to researchers of firearms history by providing a free public archive of materials pertaining to every aspect of small arms. All HFRS archived files - documents, footage, transcripts, and high-resolution images - are public domain and are free to be used by historians and enthusiasts alike - be it in published works or otherwise.
It is our belief that history is to be valued in and of itself, and the most important part of research is that everyone has access to it.
